CEEF THANKS YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL “2013 BOOKS FOR A BETTER FUTURE” CAMPAIGN
Thanks to your support, the Cupertino Educational Endowment Fund (CEEF) is pleased to announce that we have met our goal of raising $150,000 in 10 weeks to support the “2013 Books for a Better Future Campaign.”
Your generosity has enabled CUSD to provide all schools with classroom sets of nonfiction texts for every grade level, small group reading sets for every grade level, and read-aloud texts for the primary grade levels by this fall in support of the implementation of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
The “Books for a Better Future” Campaign was launched in partnership with the Cupertino Union School District (CUSD) at the 2013 CEEF Gala on March 9th, at which time Gala supporters contributed $20,000 which CEEF then matched. Since the Gala our community came forward to support the Campaign through online donations, as well as participation in CEEF Great Schools Grocery Days with 99 Ranch Market and Whole Foods Market and the 2013 CEEF Golf Tournament.
We at CEEF are honored to work with CUSD in support of “great schools” for all of the children in our district.
To all of our partners who contributed to the success of this campaign – our donors, sponsors, and volunteers both within and outside of the CUSD community — thank you for being a hero!
