Great things are possible when our community unites to take on the complex and challenging task of ensuring that our students’ educational needs are met. CEEF believes that leveraging private resources is key to meeting the funding needs of our public education system. In 2010, CEEF partnered with CUSD and the parent and business community to raise more than $2.5 million to preserve quality education by saving 115 kindergarten through eight grade teachers; restoring 20:1 class size ratio in grades 1-3; and, preventing teacher reshuffling in K-8 classrooms across the district.
